For my career pathway, I have decided that after college I will go to university. I will focus on getting a degree which will be for game design and story development/creative writing. This is so that the skills I have already developed over the past few years out of education (writing stories for fun), in secondary school (GCSE's), and college can be further improved by working hard and getting a degree which can help me get a good job.

I will make connections with people that I meet during my time in university and any trips I go to which are involved with gaming to help me get to know more people in the industry so that I can share ideas and make new friends. I will also make connections with companies so that I can either get a good career at a well-known video games company in the future and help develop video games or I will make my own company and develop my own video games.

I have also thought about how I could make connections with other video games companies and work alongside them so that consumers will love to play games that have multiple companies working on the game which would help sponsor each other so that we could all make more high-quality games.

All of these different options would help me for when I have finished my course at university and when I decide to transition into the gaming industry to meet other creators because it would give me the opportunity to create and be part of developing games which I would want people to play and enjoy as I have so many ideas for video games and I would take every opportunity to share my ideas to others through my games.

I have currently applied to five different Universities. Brunel University London (Games Design and Creative Writing), University Centre Colchester at Colchester Institute (Computer Games with 3D Modeling and Animation), University of East London (Computer Games Design: Story Development), University of Essex (Computer Games), and University of Suffolk (Computer Games Design). I will update this when I have heard anything from the Universities.
